I had to go to Indianapolis yesterday for work. I decided to drive because it is only about 3 hours away and, well, I haven't had the chance to take a long trip in the new car yet. I averaged 30 mpg! That's like twice what the old Jeep got. Tell me again when I'm going to feel sad about selling my first car?

Anyway, driving through the representation of Middle America that is Indiana, I was amazed by the prevalence of those magnetic car ribbon decals that say "Support our troops" or "God Bless our Troops" or whatnot. It's kind of ridiculous. I think this site explains it well.

I'm also obsessed with the sorry everybody website. Not sure why, but I went through 40 pages of those pictures last night. I think I keep expecting to see someone I know at some point...
